About Alisha Lewis


Alisha Lewis graduated from Judson Baptist College where she received a Masters of Science in Psychology with a double minor in Religion and Biology. She continued her higher education at Troy University at Dothan and received her Masters of Science in Psychology and Counseling with an emphasis in agency counseling.
Mrs. Lewis is a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed by the Alabama Board of Examiners in Counseling. She is certified to administer PREPARE/ENRICH Inventories, which is a couple assessment tool for pre-marital/marital counseling. Mrs. Lewis enjoys working with all ages typically dealing with a variety of issues, but has a heart for working with individuals and families with grief related issues. She works with couples and families that are in crisis. Creative techniques utilizing play therapy with children and adolescents are used in the counseling process. Mrs. Lewis specializes in child of divorce issues as well as blended family issues, women with depression and anxiety, parenting children and teens and grief and loss.
Mrs. Lewis is a wife and mother of two young daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, which keeps her busy. She is active in her church, where her husband serves as minister of music.
